Syria's emergency authorities confirmed that a series of explosions struck an army weapons depot near al-Eis in Aleppo province early on September 21, injuring four people, including one hit by falling shrapnel. Rescue workers helped nearby residents leave and roads to the site were closed; the cause has not been announced.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations centre said on September 21 that a tanker entering the Strait of Hormuz was hit by an unknown projectile, lightly injuring two crew members. The vessel remained under its own power and continued toward its next port, with no environmental impact reported. The attacker, weapon type, vessel name and extent of damage have not been disclosed.

The Saudi-led coalition said on September 19 that air defences destroyed a Houthi ballistic missile fired toward Riyadh and that attacks on Yanbu, Taif, Baysh and Farasan were also thwarted. The Houthis acknowledged a missile-and-drone operation; whether the smoke and flames near Riyadh airport were caused by the interception remains unconfirmed.
